I have been in love with this skirt since the moment I laid eyes on. It was a perfect thrifter’s find that left me drooling for days. I’m not sure why they call it a car wash skirt but I love it. Its the prefect color and metallic finish that really makes the outfit skirt standout. I decided to wear this skirt with this gorgeous bow top and plexiglass clutch.

I love skirts just as much as I love dresses. My favorite kind of skirt though is the pencil skirt. It is one of the most sexiest articles of clothing without it being vulgar. Today’s skirt is one of the lifetime pieces because pencil skirts and suede never go out of style. Since it is still steamy here in Miami, I’m not quite able to wear this with boots or sweater, so I opted for a chiffon top. I wanted this outfit to feel very fall so I stuck with dark tones. The shoes of course spiced this up along with the lipstick.
- Skirt: $2.00
- Clutch: $2.50
SKIRT: VINTAGE ( LEATHER BY GIANNI)
SHOES: STEVE MADDEN // CLUTCH: VINTAGE ( THRIFTED UNBRANDED)
Fall in Miami, means Spring. It rains a lot. I can’t wear the boots or coats or scarves because it is still hot and humid. This is my version of fall. Darker coolers but with cooler articles of clothing.
This outfit is one of my favorite so far because I only paid, drum roll please….. $18.00 for this ENTIRE outfit! I bought this entire outfit at my local thrift store (Goodwill) and boy was it good to me. The shoes and clutch were brand new. The dress looks brand new but for the cost, it was certainly well worth the money I paid.
Outfit Total: $18.00
- Dress: $2.50
- Shoes: $10.00
- Clutch: $6.00
BAG: ORANGE CARAMEL
Summer is officially over tomorrow, except not for Florida. As a matter of fact, it seems like its spring here with all the afternoon thunderstorms. This outfit is my last goodbye to Summer. I had to wear my favorite summer piece, this skirt. This is definitely a show stopper and a compliment magnet. The last time I wore this shirt I wore it with a white top and pink heels. This time around, I wanted the look to be a bit more casual. I combined it with this gorgeous (and cheap) top and these floral heels.
Birds of a feather, flock together.

Summer is almost over and I am just about ready to change my wardrobe from light to darker shades. This is actually the most I am able to do because I live in Florida and that means, summer never really ends. I bough this beautiful chambray dress at a thrift store the other day and I fell in love with it.
Outfit total ( thrifted items):
- Dress: $10.00 ( brand new )
Posing around with Marilyn Monroe
This is one of my favorite summer dresses but sadly, I might have to give this cute little number up. This no longer fits like I want it to so I might have to give it up soon. For this hot and steamy day I decided to pair it with contrasting taupe faux-snake sandals and a crochet-ish clutch. The sunglasses where just my touch of coolness.
Hope you enjoy.

So for my next few posts, I figure I go around this wonderful city taking photos of all the amazing graffiti around. For this week, I happen to be matching with this “mean mugging lady” so I thought, why not copy her mean mugging look. I say, I nailed my mean face.
This dress actually happens to be one of my favorite thrift finds. I must say, the fit, the cut and the price ($3.00) were all too wonderful to pass up. I’ve worn this dress before with different shoes and a blazer BUT I did wear the same clutch. Aside from the fact that I love the fit of this dress, I like the fact that it is definitely a transitional piece. I can wear this dress for all seasons because the colors scream: Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter.
Dress: Maeve // Purchased @ Goodwill
I have to admit but this was one of my favorite shoots! I technically broke the law for this shoot but that depends from what law or legal stand point you are looking at this from. However, the important part is that I was able to take these amazing photos at this amazing location.
The outfit details are simple. Black pants, striped pants and black loafers. The top was thrifted and it was only $4.50 (score).
Top: Purchased at Goodwill // No Brand
Fringe is still hot this season and it is rolling right into the next. I purchased this skirt back in spring and have been in love with it since. I wanted a chic and “lazy” outfit for a lazy Saturday and this was perfect.
Hope you have a wonderful Saturday.

It’s been a struggle trying to blog lately. I recently moved and I have been trying to hold my life together. I did go thrift shopping the other day and boy did I find wonderful goodies. I will be sharing them on a different segment on my blog in the next coming days. This top was actually from that trip 🙂
