S P R I N G I S H E R E !!! I am so happy it’s finally here because I am over the bulky sweaters, heavy coats, scarves, mittens and starting the car 20 minutes before leaving the house. I’m ready for bright colors and pastels. I’m ready for lighter sweaters, bold prints and 70 degree weather.
When I walked out of the bathroom, my husband said, “You like like you’re ready for Easter.” My response was, “that’s the point.” I wanted my first spring outfit to scream SPRING! Bright pastel florals is the number one thing that screams, “WELCOME SPRING!” This is actually a vintage dress, if I had to put an era to it, I’ll say 80s. I found it at a local thrift store for $2.50 but the dress had no belt and no slip. The dress was too cheap not to take and I had no issues finding the perfect belt and slip. As a matter of fact, once I slipped into the dress, the only thing that I knew that looked good with this dress was this oversized bow belt. The belt really made this dress stand out and it actually made the dress. Since it’s actually still pretty cold, I pulled out of storage this beautiful pink Banana Republic wool coat. I kept my accessories muted by wearing blush colored heels, white beaded vintage bag and a pair of oversized earrings.
