Time. Time goes by so fast, it’s almost impossible to do everything we want to accomplish in one day. I may or may not have added too much on my plate, but I will let you know if I have.
The double breasted blazer is one of my favorite fashion must-haves of this season. It’s the most chic thing in my closet right now and comfy. My favorite thing about this outfit is that I did not have to try too hard to make this chic and effortless. Since it is still cold out, I decided to wear my leather pants and this beautiful velvet top. A accessoried with black heels and a bold red lip.

The Threemix series; this is where I show you how I’ve styled a piece of clothing three different ways. Today’s style piece is the leather pants. Leather pants are as versatile as jeans. The trick about leather pants is knowing when to wear them. If it’s too hot, you are going to sweat all the liquid from your body. If it’s too cold, then you’ll freeze because they are not warm. However, they make any outfit look super cool, that’s a fact. While there are plenty of super cool leather pants out there, you just have to find the right style for your needs. I was fortunate enough to have found these biker/moto style pants at Goodwill for $4.00; retail for $700.

I love anything oversized because that means I can wrap my body around it and be cozy all day long. I will admit though this is
not my denim jacket, I actually borrowed it from my husband. Although, I have officially reclaimed it (purchased it at Goodwill for him for $5.00) so the jury’s out on who really owns it now, lol.
I wanted an all black look because black dominates the winter season. Yes, there’s the dark hues of purple, green, red, orange etc but there’s something so badass about an all black outfit. I like to mix fabrics and love the look of different textures mixed together; for this outfit I mixed wool, leather and denim. At first, I put this outfit together with just the leather pants and boots because I loved how the pants and booties elongated my legs and made this outfit look badass. Since I wanted an all-black look I added this black turtleneck sweater vest and long-sleeve shirt underneath. Once I put the outfit together I knew something was missing to really make this outfit look together. That’s when I saw it staring back at me, my husband shooting this outfit with his denim jacket. I unapologetically asked him to remove his jacket and to hand it over; sorry not sorry.
