I have a traditional office job where business casual is required. I’m actually happy that this is the case because at my previous job, it was business professional (suits or at least blazers on most days). This is actually the ideal dress code for me because it allows me to play around with clothes that I can wear. Modest for work and a rebel on the weekends. However, it is because of my traditional office job that I have a lot of dresses. As a child, I HATED wearing dress, skirts anything that required showing my legs. As an adult, I can’t get enough of dresses. The dress is THE easiest item of clothing to throw on in the morning when you only have 5 minutes to spare. It’s also the easiest item to transition to from day to night without even trying too much. It’s no secret, I choose dresses over any item of clothing.
This is one of those outfits that took me 5 minutes to put together. I love burgundy and animal print together, especially anything leopard pint. I wanted to wear my hair down for this outfit but I wanted that extra “wow” factor so I accessorized with a wool hat. It was the perfect replacement to sunglasses. Weird Fact: My eyes are SUPER sensitive to sunlight so that is why 99% of my outfit posts feature me wearing sunnies. It was a bit cold this day so I wore this beautiful black leather coat and carried on with my black brooks brothers bag.

I love a good pair of bell bottom jeans and when I came across these frill flare hem jeans, I was SOLD. I was a bit nervous about these slightly because all I could think of was, are they going to shrink me. However, once I tried them on and envisioned them with booties and heels, it was a done deal.
I have been obsessed with floral booties lately and I had to talk myself out of buying at least 3 more pairs. They are just so pretty to look at! I wore these pretty little booties with my frill flare jeans, yet another vintage sweater 😉 and my hot pink moto jacket. The vintage sweater is just pretty to look at with its sequin and embellished detailing. I must add that it is a very warm and cozy sweater. The Moto jacket is actually an old purchase from Goodwill ( purchased back home) and I love the gold buttons with the HOT pink color. Accessorized with my black bucket Coach handbag.

Don’t mind the awkward smile, I was really cold!
Not much going on here but planning out my week. Here’s a quick post of today’s #ootd.
This whole outfit ( except the shoes) were purchased at Goodwill. I really wanted to wear this skirt today and since the weather allowed for leather, I just had to wear it. I wore the skirt with this gorgeous tank-top “tee” and my second Christmas present, the shoes! Aren’t they lovely? I bought this pair at Kohls and surprisingly enough, they look exactly like a pair from Steve Madden, see below. The big difference was the price! The Steve Madden one’s are available for $109.99 and the one’s I got from Kohl’s were $64.00 BUT I got them for $35.00 with a coupons. I kept my make-up natural-ish and my hair brushed back. It was a bit chilly so I added this long blazer to keep me warm.
This is the perfect outfit for happy hours or hanging out with your girlfriends.

As my last post, I made it to Art Basel on Sunday night, the closing event. I have to say that every year that I attend Art Basel it just gets bigger and bigger. The art is amazing at Art Basel, there is sooo much to see and to experience. I took a few shots of the evening, see them here.
So, originally I had planned for a whole different outfit but being that it was chilly out I had to switch. Instead, I wore this comfy turtle neck shirt, faux-leather jeans, black heels and this gorgeous back. I pulled my hair back in a pony tail to keep it sleek. The heels are actually ankle straps but I removed the ankle straps to make them look like simple pumps. I added a matching bold lip to complete my look.

So today I totally did a throw back look; the nineties. That time when long messy “beach” hair, ripped jeans, black chunky boots, t-shirts & plaid shirts were a stable to being wrapped around our waists. I guess listening to Pearl Jam back to back may cause this to happen ( by the way, Pearl Jam might just be my FAVORITE band of all time!).
Pretty much everything here was purchased at Goodwill, except the boots. The shirt is actually “supposed” to be a cropped sweater BUT on my petite frame it fits more like a “normal” shirt so I tucked it in. The skirt is high waisted with gorgeous gold and black buttons. I finished off this look with dark chunky boots, a dark lip and my oh, so cool sunnglasses.
P.S. I know I didn’t do my Monday’s Craving segment, but I have finals this week! Therefore, I had zero cravings and lots of studying. Needless to say, the only thing I am craving this week, is for 100% on all of my exams!

Wynwood Street Art. Side note: The headlights reflect on my shirt; too fxking cool!
Happy Saturday loves!
If you are ever in Miami, FL (not South Beach, because those are actually two different cities) you have to make sure to make a pit stop in Wynwood a.k.a Design District and check out the sick art there. There is soooo many cool art around the neighborhood that you might just want to take a picture of it. However, make sure you do so soon. Unfortunately, because of the heavy construction, commercialization and retailers that have opened in the area, several of the art galleries in the neighborhood are moving :(. Hopefully the street art remains but that is still to be determined.
The Outfit Details:
It was a tank-top and jeans kinda day for me. I did have an early start so I pulled out the jacket but honestly by the afternoon it was a warm 84 degrees. However, by the evening it’s set to be “cool” so I’ll keep the jacket with me, just in case I need it. I added the shoes for a an extra “kick in my step” and because I practically use any excuse to wear leopard. However, this is one of those outfits that you can pretty much wear just about any pair of shoes and the outfit will still look good.
