Fall in Miami, means Spring. It rains a lot. I can’t wear the boots or coats or scarves because it is still hot and humid. This is my version of fall. Darker coolers but with cooler articles of clothing.
This outfit is one of my favorite so far because I only paid, drum roll please….. $18.00 for this ENTIRE outfit! I bought this entire outfit at my local thrift store (Goodwill) and boy was it good to me. The shoes and clutch were brand new. The dress looks brand new but for the cost, it was certainly well worth the money I paid.
Outfit Total: $18.00
- Dress: $2.50
- Shoes: $10.00
- Clutch: $6.00

I am wearing my favorite pair of boots today! I just love these boots and I always get excited when I get to wear them. They are extremely warm so they are best suited for those very chilly days. I’ll be the first to admit that I should have worn them on another day, but screw it. They are so gorgeous and comfy that I couldn’t myself.
I was feeling very daring today so I decided to wear them with this cute skater skirt I found at a Goodwill the other day. I just love how sexy this skirt and the boots look together without it being too revealing. The bonus part about these boots? They make me look sooo much taller than what I really am ( tall + lean legs? yes, please 🙂 )Everything else just kinda fell into place with this outfit. The top, clutch & lip color were my extra accessories to complete this look.
Total Cost of this Outfit: $5.98 ( if you include the boots $105.98)
- Top: $0.98
- Skirt: $2.50

Yes, more sparkle for me. Actually, I think I might be running out of sparkle ( if that even is possible) but I am not 100% sure if this is my last sparkling piece. I wanted to wear these shorts one last time before I departed with them. I really love them, but they have gotten to the point were they are too big on me.
I wanted to let the shorts do all the shinning so I did this whole black think. I wore a black button- up chiffon shirt with a faux-leather collar and sleeves, added a black blazer for a more “sharp” look, black leggings to fend off the cold and black heels. I really wanted to the shorts to shine and I really like sequin shorts with blazers. I did a cool red lip and my hair side swept. Unfortunately, I am going through an awkward stage with my hair. The bangs I did this summer are growing out and since I have curly hair, the shrinkage is unbearable. I am running out of ideas with my hair! Anyway, hope you like this look.

It’s thanksgiving in America today! That means, lot of eating and lots of shopping. This year, I am opting out of Black Friday sales. I feel that there are so many things that I already have that I really don’t need to be out there shopping. Instead, I am going to stay home and lounge around all day; watch movies and sip on wine.
Today I kept things simple as I was the one in charge of cooking again so I made sure it was a low maintenance outfit. Now, I know most of you might be wondering, “that’s simple?” But it really is. All I did was throw on some black legging jeans, a black long sleeve shirt and black boots. To make the outfit extraordinary? I just threw on this amazing faux-fur leopard vest I found at Goodwill the other day ( seen here). Just by throwing on this vest, I made my outfit pop; it went from simple to wow. I accessorized with this amazing clutch I found at goodwill the other day ( which is sooooo pretty), a gold necklace, a gold rings, a watch and a bold dark lip. Hope you liked it.
Oh by the way, when I stepped out of the bedroom my boyfriend played: Thrift Shop by Macklemore and Ryan. LOL He said, “you look like Macklemore with that”.

It was actually a chilly day in South Florida today. Ok, so we’ve had a few chilly days here and there but I wore a sweater today so it counts!LOL.
I can’t gush enough about this gorgeous sweater I bought at Goodwill the other day. It’s sooooo pretty and the color is just amazing! I decided to pair the sweater with these very chic faux-suede/cord legging jeans from the gap that I also happened to have bought at Goodwill (actually, come to think of it, the whole outfit was thrifted with the exception of the bag). The shoes were featured on thrifted rags a few weeks ago, check here. I just love the combination of mustard yellow with oxblood/burgundy. I wish you could see the color better but unfortunately I am still having camera issues.
